Kanguq accompanies Niyok to the stop and notices Aang from afar before running off. After everyone gets back to the journey, Aang gets injured from a rockslide he protects the others from and Niyok uses her waterbending to heal him. This leads to the earthbenders of Omashu to bend a massive system of tunnels out of the city that they can't be followed from. King Moy and his people leave for safer pastures, but still mourn the loss of their homes.
